Correspondence:
Letter from Yass Valley Council offering the Community a Lawn Mower was read and moved Janet Smith we accept the offer and conditions once someone from the Community has checked the Mower. Sec. Michael Smith.

Community Recreation Ground:
Grounds have been mown, nothing else to report.

General Business:
Complaint about roadside wood collection had been made over the Easter Weekend, and the fact the Reserves were advertising collection from road side was cause for alarm, due to the dangers that occur when people do not make allowances for traffic when they park, e.g. On a blind corner or hill.

Moved Kim O’Connor retrieve from archives any Correspondence appertaining to wood collection in the past. There had been an undertaking made to the Community by the Lands Department, wood will be supplied for the campers, this seems to have fallen by the wayside, and due to wood becoming quite scarce the old problem of trespassing is arising again.

Thanks to those who did the new phone list, it has again been popular.

Thanks to those who organised and ran the Bingo night on Easter Saturday it was very successful.

Kim O’Connor moved strips be purchased to put on doors to stop dust and leaves from blowing into the Hall sec. Irene Holloway.

Janet Smith suggested a cleaning roster be made for the Hall to be cleaned once a month, eg. windows, bathrooms cupboards etc. It was decided that a list of jobs to be done be placed in the Hall and a working bee followed by a BYO all BBQ lunch be held after each meeting.

Helicopter surveillance of Willows in district has been put off until next year due to Helicopters leaving the district for other work...
John Parker to follow up next year...
